Afternoon MVA Sends 2 to Trauma Center

At approximately 1:50pm on Wednesday afternoon, Stafford Township received a call for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment in the area of Nautilus Drive. Upon arrival, 380 quickly determined the severity of the injuries and immediately established command. Ambulances 385 and 386 arrived shortly thereafter with crews using full protective equipment. Due to the impact of the vehicle, 1 patient had to be extricated out of the vehicle, who was then immediately assessed by our crews as well as the other patient. Due to precautionary reasons, both patients were transported to a nearby trauma center for further evaluation.

We would like to thank our crews, the Stafford Township Police Department, the Stafford Township Fire Company and Surf City Fire & EMS for providing coverage for our town while we were tending to this call.
