On August 23rd at approximately 1430 hours, Stafford EMS was dispatched for a reported swimmer in distress at the Sahara Sands of Eagleswood in West Creek, NJ. Upon the arrival of 380, a unified command post was established along side the Stafford Township Fire Company. 380 requested a first alarm assignment to be mobilized due to the amount of resources and manpower on land and in water. EMS staging was set up with a checkpoint for accountability.
Throughout the duration of this call, multiple divers were rehabbed between two separate rehab locations. Continuing, the victim was located and units were released accordingly from the scene. Units operated on scene for approximately 5 hours.
